What is The Mississippi Association of Players?

MAP, a member of the National Association of Players, is home to Mississippi’s only online sports complex, the state all-stars, the only youth athletic Greek clubs, unique resources & assistance, authentic exposure and unlimited membership benefits.

Online Sports Complex
Stay fit or train better at home on your time with our Online Gym, hear from college coaches in The Huddle, engage with athletes in the Locker Room and get closer to God with daily devotion & prayer with Teens For Christ. Yes, the Sports Complex is lit!

Elite Social Club
MAP is home of the Mu Lambda Youth Club (Boys) & The Lambda Diamonds Youth Club (Girls), the nation's only junior greek auxiliaries exclusively for high school athletes, serving through mentorship, leadership, & community service. A great way for students to connect with college and professional athletes.

Membership Benefits
Whether in person or online, participate in as many free camps, tournaments, activities, events, classes, programs, clinics, or retreats as possible every month at no extra cost, including the state all-stars. You can request 1 on 1 with experts or trainers. Benefits are endless.

Resources and Assistance
Whether you need food or economic assistance such as paying your light bill or rent, need a tutor or someone to vent to, MAP is here for you. Need to get a NCAA # or help finding a scholarship, we’re here for whatever life throws at you.

LEGACY + HISTORY

The Mississippi Association of Players, a HMG Company, has generated dynamic history, reshaping sports in Mississippi, creating opportunities for institutions, teachers and students for generations to come.

1st to Pay Teachers

MAP is the first and only organization to actually pay teachers. Typically, when coaches are selected to coach an all-star game, they do so voluntarily. MAP however pays teachers who are selected as all-star coaches, increasing teachers' yearly income.

MAP continues to help lead the fight when it comes to teacher pay in Mississippi. Throughout the year, MAP provide opportunities for teachers to earn more income through various events and programs, both academically and athletically.

1st to host all-star games at a HBCU

MAP is the first organization to host an all-star game at a HBCU. The Mississippi Basketball All-Stars was held Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Tougaloo College, the first time an all-star game was held at an HBCU in the state's history.

MAP has since held multiple all-star games at multiple HBCUs. The Mississippi Football All-Stars was held at Mississippi Valley State University. The Mississippi Baseball All-Stars was held at Rust College, the state's oldest HBCU.

1st All-star Games to Feature 9-12th grade students

MAP is the first organization to allow 9th - 12th grade student athletes to compete together in an all-star game. Typically, all-star games are based on classifications, more commonly for seniors.

MAP broke that tradition and created a new tradition, by allowing the best athletes to compete together regardless of grade or classification, showcasing a true reflection of the best talent in the state.

1st Track & Field All-Stars in Mississippi's History

MAP is the first organization to host a track and field all-stars. The Mississippi Track and Field All-Stars was held Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Biloxi High School.

For the first time in the state's history, track and field athletes from Mississippi's home + public + private schools, from Class 1a - 7a, competed together. The winners are recognized as the reigning number one athlete in the state in their event.
