Moss Point's Derrick Jenkins Name Named Head Football Coach in Mississippi Classics

HATTIESBURG, Miss (MAP) - Moss Point High School Head Coach Derrick Jenkins has been named the head coach one of the Mississippi Teams in the Mississippi Classics All-Star Game.

Coach Jenkins brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the coaching staff as he's led Moss Point to it's first playoff game in quite a long time. Coach Jenkins also brings representation of the entire coastal community.

As head coach, he will select kids to play on his team, 9th - 12th grade students from both public and private school, from the All-Star Draft on Sunday, November 30, 2025. He also will select 6 assistant coaches to serve on his staff.
