Here's what we provide:
What to know if my athlete is selected as an official all-star.
$0. No student can pay to play in the all-star game. However, each student must be an active student member of MAP in order to be selected and participate in the all-stars.
This game is expected to be SOLD OUT so get as many tickets for your child's family and friends as soon as possible. There will only be 10,000 tickets sold. We anticipate there will be at least 2.5 million people watching the all-star game live.
We will provide athletes with 3 meals per day. In addition to 3 meals, we will also provide athletes with a bonus "snack meal a night. There will also be plenty of snacks and drinks athletes will have access to.
All athletes eat for free!
We will provide athletes a safe and clean place to stay during the all-stars. There is no extra charge for hotels rooms.
Each athlete will receive his own game day jersey with his name on it to go along with their uniform. There is no cost for his jerseys or uniform.
Yes, athletes can keep their uniform at no extra cost.
Athletes will be provided a practice jersey they can wear if they choose too as we all as a travel hoodie they can wear during the all-stars. Yes, they keep all of their merch at no extra price.
Playing in one of the biggest games in the country, athletes will create memories & life long friendships that will last a lifetime.
There will be opportunities for parents, family & friends to help take part in celebrating and remembering this special moment.
For example, students can order professional game day pictures, special congrats ads, official all-star merch & more.

The Baby Superbowl: The Mississippi vs Louisiana All-Star Game is finally set for MLK All-Star Weekend, Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Rice -Totten Stadium on the campus of Mississippi Valley State University. The game starts at 7:30pm.
The MS vs LA is the biggest high school football game in the nation featuring some of the most talented athletes in the country including multiple 5 star, 4 star & 3 star high school athletes from both Louisiana and Mississippi.
"This is probably the most anticipated game of the year that every college coach will be watching!" according to a top ranking college Head Football Coach.

The Mississippi Classics: The Mississippi vs Mississippi All-Star Game is finally set for MLK All-Star Weekend, Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Rice -Totten Stadium on the campus of Mississippi Valley State University. The game starts at 4:30pm.
The MS vs MS is the biggest high school football game in the Mississippi featuring some of the most talented athletes in the state from Mississippi's public and private schools.
"The Mississippi Classics may be the game where a lot of us college coaches start to recruit most athletes in Mississippi from !" according to a top ranking college Head Football Coach.

Alden Terry Foster
Mississippi vs Louisiana All-Stars
Head Coach- Mississippi All-Star Team
Coach Alden Foster is currently the head coach at McComb High School in McComb, Mississippi.
He is a 1990 honor graduate of Amite High School where he was an All-state football player and received academic All state. He went on to start 4 years as the fullback for Southern University. He is a member of the 1993 HBCU National Championship Team.
Coach Foster is in his 24th year as a head coach. He has led two different schools to undefeated regular seasons (Amite and McComb) & has made 3 different state championship appearances (St. Helena and Amite). He's been awarded District Coach of the Year 16 times. He's also been honored as Coach of the Year 3 times.
Coach Foster notable former players include Superbowl Champion and Heisman Trophy Winner Devonta Smith (Philadelphia Eagles), NFL Stars Tyrus Wheat (Detroit Lions), Donta Fleming (Minnesota Vikings), Jarrius Monroe (New York Jets) Damonta Coxie (Toronto Argonauts) and Jason Antonio (Washington Commanders).
Throughout his coaching career, he's helped over 175 kids receive football scholarships and has a 98% graduation rate with only 2 kids in 24 years that haven’t graduated.

Robert Valdez

Head Coach- Louisiana All-Star Team
Robert Valdez is the head football coach at St. Augustine High School in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he leads one of the state’s most historic and tradition-rich programs.
Known for his passion, discipline, and emphasis on character development, Valdez has built a reputation for molding young men both on and off the field.
A veteran coach with over two decades of experience, Valdez has served as a head coach at multiple Louisiana high schools, including McKinley, West St. John, & Scotand St. James.
During his tenure at West St. John, he guided the Rams to several deep playoff runs, including a Class 1A state championship appearance. At St. James, he revitalized the program and led the Wildcats to a 2019 Class 3A State Championship—cementing his status as one of Louisiana’s premier high school coaches.
Since taking over at St. Augustine, Valdez has focused on restoring the Purple Knights’ legacy of excellence by emphasizing academic achievement, cultural pride, and physical development.
His leadership continues to inspire a new generation of student-athletes to “Believe” in the standard of greatness that defines St. Augustine football.

Derrick Jenkins

Head Coach- Mississippi All-Star Team
Coach Derrick Jenkins, a native of D’Lo, Mississippi, played football at Copiah-Lincoln Community College and Belhaven University, earning his Bachelor’s in Sports Administration before completing his Master’s and Specialist’s Degrees in Education at William Carey University.
With over 16 years of coaching experience, Coach Jenkins has served in key roles across Mississippi, including positions at Crystal Springs, Ocean Springs, Wesson, Mendenhall, St. Martin, and Perry Central, where he was Assistant Head Coach, Defensive Coordinator, and Head Basketball and Track Coach. He now leads Moss Point High School as the Head Football Coach.
A proven program builder and mentor, Coach Jenkins is dedicated to developing student-athletes on and off the field. He is married to Nykesha and has four children: DK, Kylah, Kennedi, and Jackie.

Darryl Carter

Head Coach- Mississippi All-Star Team
Coach Carter attended Northeast Jones where he was the 1994 4A State Champion. He was the 1995 WDAM News Player of the Year. He was also the MS/AL All-Star Player MVP.
Coach Carter, the current Head Coach at Heidelberg High School, got his associates degree from Meridian Community College in which he achieved Offensive Player of the Year. He got his Bachelor's Degree from ULM. He received his Masters of Educational Leadership from Mississippi College.
With over 24 years of coaching experience, Coach Carter has a record of 37-8. He's the 2024 State Champion, 2X Division Champions (24 & 25), 3X South State Champion ('23, '24, & '25), 2X Division Coach of the Year, 2024 2A Coach of the Year, 2X YBC Movement Coach of the Year, & 2024 WDAM News Pine Belt Coach of the Year.
He is married with a wife, a son and a daughter.
