Clarksdale & Ridgeland Baseball Coaches Selected As State's All-Star Head Coaches

Holly Springs- The head coaches of the Mississippi Baseball All-Stars has been selected and has a lot of baseball fans talking.
Coach Chandler Dillard, Head Coach of the Ridgeland High School Baseball Team has been selected as one of two head coaches of the Mississippi Baseball All-Stars.
Coach Quavante McGregory, Head Coach of Clarksdale High School Baseball Team has been selected as the other head coach of the Mississippi Baseball All-Stars.
As we get to know both head coaches over the next several weeks, an interesting fun fact is both head coaches transferred to Jackson State University as college baseball players.
In what's expected to be a highly competitive and interesting game, The Mississippi Baseball All-Stars is Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Rust College. The all-stars features the best of 3 games on Saturday between Coach McGregory and Coach Dillard's team.
The coaches will formally select their teams on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 during the baseball all-star draft in downtown Hattiesburg at the Jackie Dole Community Center, 220 W. Front St, Hattiesburg, MS at 6pm.
Student athletes from around the state are expected to attend the red-carpet event in hopes of being selected as a state all-star which automatically upgrade student athletes to a 3 star athlete just like the state's basketball all-stars.
The state all-stars features 9th-12th grade student athletes from Mississippi's public, private, and charter schools coming together competing not only to win the state all-stars, but also with a good performance, listed high in the state's baseball ranking which ranks players from across the state.
Students will enjoy staying a week at Rust College full of fun, food, a showcase, and a whole lot of baseball as each team prepares for the all-star game on Saturday.
Any student can sign-up to participate by getting a confirmation ticket confirming they will be at the draft.
