Student athletes can sign up to be a member of Mississippi Association of Players by clicking here.
Who Can Join?
Any student athlete that attends any school in Mississippi can become a member of MAP. Student athletes must be between 7th -12th grade.
How Much Does It Cost?
All student athletes pay an $100 annual membership fee. Even if a student participates in multiple sports, he/she still only pays the $100 and nothing more.
Outside of the $100 membership fee, student athletes don't have to pay any other fees year round. Yes, a game changer for parents. No selling ads. No selling lemonade. This membership fee covers the student athlete year round regardless of how many sports a student athlete plays.

What Are The Benefits of MAP Membership?
There are a hosts of benefits for student athletes who are members of MAP. The one word to sum up most benefits is "ACCESS!" MAP members have access to a host of benefits, opportunities, and rewards.
Let's explore some of the benefits:
The Mississippi All-Stars
Any MAP student athletes can be selected to participate in the state all-stars. To be selected as a state all-star is the highest honor a student athlete can achieve. Student athletes are selected from the 9th-12th grades through a unique process call the All-Star Draft which you can read about by clicking here.
The state all-star game is the biggest game of the year as it features the best athletes in that specific sport from around the state. There are 4 all-star games left in the 2024-24 school term. You can read more about it by clicking here.
The all-stars covers all sports: football, basketball, baseball, softball, track & field, bowling, swimming, wrestling, golf, band, soccer, tennis, cheerleading, and boxing.
The official MS Sports Awards
MAP is the only organization that officially recognizes student athletic achievement state-wide. Who is considered the "best" or the "most improved" in their specific sport is formally award by MAP at the end of each sports season. No, players don't have to be selected as an all-star to receive a state award.
Not only does MAP recognizes those students state-wide but also recognizes students in specific districts also known as known as classifications, i.e. Class 7a Class 6a Class 5a, etc.
Scholarships
A big emphasis on the success of our student athletes is the ability to help pay their way to college. MAP believes no student should have to worry about the financial cost of continuing their education so we offer scholarships any of our students can apply for.
The cool thing about MAP scholarships is you don't have to be a senior to apply. Scholarship are offered year round. This is a great way we can push all of our Mississippi students forward in the right direction.
What Are Some of the Opportunities of MAP Membership?
One of the biggest opportunities that athletes have access to is free camps and mentorship programs. Helping athletes develop into the best student athlete that they can be is one our top goals. MAP offers a variety of camps, programs, etc with professional athletes.
One of our highly anticipated feature camps this summer is "The Ruthie Bolton Basketball Camp," a camp specifically designed for female basketball athletes. Obviously, there is no fee for this camp but it is MAP members only.
Exclusive mentorship programs with college and pro athletes to help build student athletes character, moral, and promote mental health is another great opportunity to help mold, elevate, and build student athletes.
What Are Some of the Rewards of MAP Membership?
The rewards of being a member of MAP are endless. MAP is all in when it comes to doing whatever's possible to ensure the success of Mississippi student athletes.
