Student Athletes Standing 2025-26
The Mississippi High School Players Rankings 2025-26 are the official players rankings for high school students in Mississippi.
We know there is a lot of confusion with properly ranking high school athletes. They may appear on one site but not on the other. With similar framework as The College AP Poll which has 25 news agencies as voting members, The MHSPR has 50+ news agencies as voting members who vote on the standings each week, making it the most accurate players rankings in high school sports.
The MHSPR consist of two ranking periods, in season and out of season. During in season, the ranking are updated every week as members of the press evaluate each athlete's performance during their local high school games. During out of season, rankings are updated based on players performance and participation after every MAP event.
The rankings include a student's GPA, NCAA Number, & most importantly, each students M-Score.
Your MARONS Score is the most important score a student athlete can have. It tells a college or sponsor who you are, how ready, how prepared & how equipped you are, how honest and trustworthy you are, how responsible you are, what risks you may bring, and how valuable you may be for their organization.
Student athletes get their MARONS Score from running a MARONS Report.
The MARONS Report is a private assessment of a student athlete. It's based on 7 critical categories: Marketability, Athleticism, Risks, Offers, NIL, Scholarships, and the HAT Factor ( Honest & Trustworthy).
The MORANS Score is public info. The MORANS Report itself must be requested.
