Ruthie Bolton
Board Member
Ruthie Bolton is a WNBA Superstar. She's a 2x US Olympic Gold Medalist, 2x WNBA All-Star, and WNBA Hall of Fame. She's also been named 'Queen of Women's Basketball' by THN News.

Thakarius BoPete Keyes
Board Member
Thakarius "BoPete" Keyes is an American Football star. BoPete was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs from Tulane University. He is currently a UFL superstar, playing for the San Antonio Brahmas.

Blake Levine
Board Member
Blake Levine is a very talented award winning sports journalist. He is the Director of Sports for WJTV CBS News in Jackson, MS. Blake received his bachelors from Syracuse University. He is considered one of the most influential voices in all of Mississippi Sports.

Dee Moye
Board Member
Dee is the principal of the powerhouse consulting firm, The HMG Firm. He's the former executive producer of the MS/AL, North vs South, & Bernard Blackwell All-Star Games. Dee is the recipient of 2 Lifetime Achievement Awards.

Darryl Jordan
Board Member
Darryl Jordan Jr. is an American Basketball Athlete, US Gold Medalist, & 3x College Basketball Champion. Currently, he's playing professionally overseas in Kosovo. Darryl won a gold medal in the World Games representing Team USA. He also has 3 college championships, one with Jackson State University, Alcorn State University, and one with Tugaloo College.

Senator Juan Barnett
Board Member
The honorable Juan Barnett is the Mississippi Senator for District 34. He is the proud husband of Judge Jacqueline Barnett. Currently, he's the powerful chairman of Mississippi Department of Corrections. Juan was recognized as one of MS Top 50 Most Influential People. He is the former mayor of Heidelberg, MS. He is also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha.

Board Member
Mia Coleman is a dynamic athlete & coach. She's currently the Head Basketball Coach at Magee High School as well as a Track & Field Coach. She played high school ball at Mendenhall High and college ball at Pearl River College. She received her specialist in Educational Leadership from William Carey University.

Marquis S. McFarland
Board Member
Marquis S. McFarland is a very talented athlete & coach. He is a 2004 graduate of Hattiesburg High School. He played college football at Alcorn State University from 2005-08. He also received his master's degree from Alcorn State University. He is currently a counselor at McComb Alternative School, Offensive Coordinator of McComb High School Football Team, & Head Coach of McComb High School Girls Flag Football Team under the NFL Flag Football League.

Meet our Administrative Coaches
Our administrative coaches are responsible for the day to day operations of the Mississippi Association of Players. Overall, our admin coaches are tasked with planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing MAP events, programs, and initiatives.
With the assistance of a great support team, our admin coaches lead our admin team into providing the necessary resources and opportunities to ensure the success of all our student athletes in Mississippi, helping them to become the very best student athlete they can be.
Mary Bolton Warren is a mother of 3 amazing daughters. Mary was a star college athlete playing at Jones College and Nichols State University, where she earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree. Mary received her Master's of Educational Leadership from the University of Southern Mississippi. Mary has been a collegiate coach at Pearl River College & the University of Southern Mississippi. Mary is the 1st African American Mayor of the City of McClain, MS. Mary was appointed by the Governor to serve on the Mississippi Commission for Volunteer Service.

Alex Jordan is a former collegiate basketball athlete. He is also a former Region 23 Champion. Alex has earned his Associate's Degree in Health Science from Meridian College. Although Alex is single with no kids, he is in love with his beautiful dog name Nyla.

Darryl, a single parent of 2 boys Christopher and Darryl Jr., was a star high school athlete at Poplarville High School, marching in the band and running track, winning state titles both his junior and senior year. Darryl retired after 13 years as the first African American Fire Inspector with the City of Hattiesburg. His son Darryl Jr. is a professional basketball athlete, currently playing overseas in Kosovo. Coach Jordan is also a military vet and a minister for correction institutions.
